EVENT RULES & SAFETY RULES

The essentials: Get these right or go home!

  • Dead Players do not talk, make your way back to regen and do not communicate any information to players who are still in game. IE No telling your mate “hes over there behind that tree” as you walk back to regen. This spoils the game for others.

  • Don’t cheat call, swear or use abusive language towards other players.

  • Be conscientious, play how you would like to be played against. Safety of yourself and others is everyone's responsibility including yours.

  • No overkill.

  • You must not shoot through a gap that you can not fit your head through or is smaller than an A4 sheet of paper.

  • Avoid headshots where possible, unless no other part of an enemy players body is visible.

  • No ‘Blind’ fire, you must be looking down the sights of your gun at your target.

  • Stay positive, always give other players the benefit of the doubt and have as much fun as possible. Follow e a good example to others! If for any reason you are unhappy, come back to the safe zone have a cuppa and we can talk it out.

  • Lastly, be a good sport and take care of those around you as well as yourself.

AMMO LIMITS EXPLAINED:

These are in play to add an element of realism and to add another layer of immersion to Battlesim style games, you can take as many BB’s as you can carry as much as you want on your person, but must only reload at your main regen or a field pack.

High Caps. Whilst not banned as they are unavoidable in some instances, we would prefer all players use Mid Caps or Low Caps and avoid high caps where possible. This adds an element of realism to the game.

Box Mags: No BOX mags EVER on non support weapons. Support Weapons can of course run high cap or box mags, this gives players who use big, heavy unwieldy support weapons an incentive for doing so.

FIELD PACKS:

These will be given to your team leaders at the start of the day, these are rucksacks/satchels with a flag inside, you can set these up anywhere on the site, provided they are not in line of sight of an enemy teams main regen.

Field packs can be deployed by hanging them from a tree or structure with the flag hanging out of the bag, at a field pack you can reload & regenerate.

Field packs can be destroyed by stuffing the flag back into the bag and placing it on the ground, do not move an enemy teams field pack!

If you return to a field pack and find it has been destroyed as described above, you must return it to your teams main regen before you can deploy it again. Please do your best to communicate to fellow team mates, where you have deployed a field pack.

VEHICLE RULES:

ATTACKING PLAYERS (not in vehicle):

  • Do not deliberately shoot at Vehicles.

  • To stop a vehicle, throw smoke or a grenade in it’s path. (within 5-10meters)

  • Do not engage players who are actively exiting the vehicle.

  • Do not throw pyro into vehicles.

VEHICLE OCCUPANTS:

  • When attacked, all occupants excluding top gunner, should exit the vehicle to investigate, secure a perimeter while smoke clears or enemy combatants dealt with, only remount vehicle when area is secured.

  •  Must keep arms, legs, head etc inside the vehicle,

  • may only shoot from top turret or weapons mounted to vehicle

DRIVER:

  • Marshalls/Crew Only.

  • 5mph speed limit.

  • Must ensure all passengers are seated prior to moving.

  • Must stay on visibly marked tracks

  • Must stop at first sign of activity / smoke / pyro and apply handbrake..

TOP GUNNER:

  • Normal hit/medic rules apply. Driver or friendly players  can Medic you

ALL PLAYERS:

  • Stand clear of moving vehicles.

  • Can follow vehicles at safe distance.

  • Avoid using vehicle as cover during firefights

MEDIC RULES:

You will receive 2 bandages at the start of the day, if you have CAT’s (Combat application tourniquets), you may use these, however this is at your own risk and must be applied loosely. You are solely responsible for the safe application of these if you choose to use them.

When you are hit shout “HIT” loudly so the player that shot you knows you have been hit.

Then wait where you have been shot for up to 5 minutes (minimum 2 minutes), whilst waiting, call out for a friendly player to medic you, by shouting your teams colour/name followed by medic IE “GREEN MEDIC” or “BLUE MEDIC” etc etc

When a friendly player gets with 1-2 meters of you and takes a knee, you may then apply a bandage, when you have applied both bandages you must return to your regen or field pack, then you may remove them, go back in to game and use them again.

If no friendly player can get to you within 5 minutes, you then bleed out, shout KIA and return to your regen or a field pack and go back in to game, you can remove any bandages you already have on and use them again.

Don’t be a martyr to the rules, if you are caught in the middle of a mega firefight and keep getting hit whilst waiting for medic, it is ok to take an immediate KIA. For the avoidance of doubt any BB that strikes you, your kit, your gun is considered to be a hit, including ricochets. If in doubt, call hit. Including friendly fire.
